Steve & Patti Phillips and their family live in a small village called Rotappr northeast of the major city of Freetown. Together with several brethren from West Africa they serve people and make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Phillips were missionaries to Nigeria for about six years. February of 2004 they returned to Washington State, USA, for an approximately one year furlough for the purpose of Steve's writing a Church history book, titled, Are We Like Christ?, to help the believers of West Africa understand our common heritage in Christ. Brother Steve has written many other books, pamphlets, and tracts, many of which are available for download from this web site.

The Phillips returned to West Africa March 2005 to live in Sierra Leone to continue their Gospel work.

Please be encouraged by their example and Steve's writings. Pray for how you might be an encouragement and a help to them.
