It seems to me that we are called in the New Testament to either be
missionaries or help missionaries. What a privilege!
I
recommend that we continue in prayer for our going out to preach the
Gospel and make disciples and plant assemblies. And in the mean time, we
can find brethren who are going forth, who still preach the real Jesus
and the real Gospel and we can help them.
In 3 John, notice how the brethren were commended for assisting the
itinerant evangelists.
Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers;
Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do well:
Because that for his name's sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles.
We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellowhelpers to the truth.
